Please be patient with me. The genuine characters in this book are many. Aleister Crowley, a truly sinister man in my opinion, was the worlds foremost occultist in the 20th century; he was indeed a spy, double agent, and spiritual consultant for many nations and their leaders in both world wars. One story purports that he and famous JPL chemist Jack Parsons performed a covert Babylon Workings ritual at Nevadas Groom Lake and Area-51 Aleister Crowley military site opening ceremony in 1949. (See: TV show Strange Angel on CBS.com). In my next book, I will explore this purported story and many others. Rear Admiral Rico Botta is mentioned in Chapter Twelve. He was a genuine naval officer, and one that is rumored to have been involved with the U.S. Navys shadowy Foreign Technology Division in San Diego at Douglas Aircraft. My father and I could find precious little information about him via a FOIA request and a USN request other than his general involvement with naval aviation. Very strange for an admiral. Rico Botta, Rear Admiral, USN As for the Ahnenerbe SS and its scientists Bruno Beger, Ernst Shafer, Ernst Krause, Edmund Geer, Edmund Kisse, Karl Wienert and others, they were all real-deal scientists and occultists. Their 1938-1939 expeditions to Tibet and the films they made for Heinrich Himmler are the stuff of legends. Reportedly, they were all Thule Society members.
